He even head stomped him at the end.
Very, very disrespectful.
A 55-year-old man was attacked in a New York street by a stranger who knocked him to the ground before launching an unprovoked assault on him with a hamburger in broad daylight, NYPD officers have said.
Dramatic footage appears to show the stranger rub fast food in the man’s face, pummel him and lift his leg to stomp on his head in the Upper West Side.
Police said the unidentified suspect, with no provocation, blew smoke in the victim’s face before waving a McDonald’s bag at him, the Daily News reported.
The victim from Washington Heights, who has not been named by police, was said to have swatted the bag away in response before attempting to continue walking down West 103rd Street off Broadway in Manhattan.
The attacker, thought to be aged between 20 and 30, followed him before stopping him in his tracks by punching him from behind, knocking him to the ground on the afternoon of February 5, police said.
He then stoops over him and lands a series of punches on him. Fries from the McDonald’s bag spill over the victim before the stranger shoves his hamburger in the man’s face.
The man then lifts up his leg in the air, appearing to be preparing to stomp on the victim’s head.
Police appealed to the public on Tuesday evening for help to identify the man in the footage, who they say is wanted for assault. The attack left the victim hospitalized for head and body bruises.
