I stopped in at a 7-Eleven to purchase a Red Bull and what did I see? The ad in the picture above. Mini-mart chain 7-Eleven is promoting $5.55 large pizzas which is nothing unusual, but what caught my eye is that 7-Eleven is promoting how to purchase the pizza. 7-Eleven is promoting EBT Pizza.
Food stamp usage has sharply increased since Barack Obama took office. We’ve gone from 28 million Americans on food stamps at the end of George W. Bush’s second term in 2008 to over 47 Million in President Obama’s fifth year in office. American’s using food stamps has almost doubled in five years, look at the chart below.
