Obama and Hillary can now add civil war and mass murder in Lebanon to their growing list of colossal foreign policy failures.
The US backed Sunni Jihad against Assad and the religious minorities in Syria have officially brought the war to Lebanon. This website predicted two years ago that meddling in Syria would prompt a large regional war.
The Jihadists are not just Sunni Muslims from Syria, but from all over the region. They have come from all over North Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Saudi Arabia even opened up their prisons and let inmates join the Jihad. The fighters are being backed by Saudi Arabia, Turkey, America, UAE, Quatar, and more. Israel has been accused to conducting air strikes in support of the Jihadists.
The fighting has been spilling over into Iraq, Lebanon, and Turkey for the past year. The wholesale mass murder of Shiites and Christians has prompted Shiite militia groups in Lebanon to cross the border to defend majority Shiite towns.
Now the Sunni Jihadists are retaliating by firing rockets into ethnic Shiite areas of southern Lebanon. Meanwhile a hardline Sunni group within Sunni Lebanon launched a military attack on the Lebanese army.
