UPDATE:
Conyers has cucked out! Resigned!
Actually not resigned. Just resigned from a thing.
Full resignation coming soon though, for sure – as soon as these bitches come forward and tell the nasty tale of when the top nigger did the nasty on they.
After careful consideration and in light of the attention drawn by recent allegations made against me, I have notified the Democratic Leader of my request to step aside as Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee during the investigation of these matters.
— John Conyers, Jr. (@RepJohnConyers) November 26, 2017
I deny these allegations, many of which were raised by documents reportedly paid for by a partisan alt-right blogger. I very much look forward to vindicating myself and my family before the House Committee on Ethics.
— John Conyers, Jr. (@RepJohnConyers) November 26, 2017
To be clear, I would like very much to remain as Ranking Member. There is still much work to be done on core concerns like securing civil rights, enacting meaningful criminal justice reform, and protecting access to the ballot box.

These challenges could not be more pressing in the face of an Administration that cares little for the rule of law and a President whose actions and conduct cheapens our discourse every day.
— John Conyers, Jr. (@RepJohnConyers) November 26, 2017
But I have come to believe that my presence as Ranking Member on the Committee would not serve these efforts while the Ethics Committee investigation is pending.

I cannot in good conscience allow these charges to undermine my colleagues in the Democratic Caucus, and my friends on both sides of the aisle in the Judiciary Committee and the House of Representatives.
— John Conyers, Jr. (@RepJohnConyers) November 26, 2017
I am proud and fortunate to be part of a legacy of more than 50 years of fighting for civil rights and making our country more equitable and just.
— John Conyers, Jr. (@RepJohnConyers) November 26, 2017
I’ll never allow that legacy – a legacy I owe to my father John Conyers, Sr., who integrated labor unions, or my two amazing sons John III & Carl and my loving wife Monica, and the extraordinary people of Detroit – to be cast aside, or these causes to be in any way diminished.
— John Conyers, Jr. (@RepJohnConyers) November 26, 2017
I am grateful to my colleagues who have called for due process before weighing judgment. I would urge them to continue to do so for any Member accused of wrongdoing. Basic fairness requires no less.

THAT’S A LOT OF TWEETS, YOU NIGGER!
SUPPOSED TO BE BRIEF!
WOW!
Original article follows.
Judge Roy Moore explicitly did not deserve due process over allegation that he kissed teenage girls 40 years ago.
John Conyers, however, is both a Democrat and black. So even though he admits to paying money to silence a woman accusing him of sexual harassment 2 years ago, he deserves due process.
House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi on Sunday urged “due process” before making conclusions about Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., following accusations of sexual harassment, saying the 27-term Congressman is “an icon” who has worked to protect women.
“We are strengthened by due process. Just because someone is accused – and was it one accusation? Is it two?” Pelosi said on “Meet The Press.”
“John Conyers is an icon in our country. He has done a great deal to protect women – Violence Against Women Act, which the left – right-wing – is now quoting me as praising him for his work on that, and he did great work on that,” she added. “But the fact is, as John reviews his case, which he knows, which I don’t, I believe he will do the right thing.”
Conyers’ office recently confirmed issuing a settlement of $27,000 to a former staffer who says she was fired for resisting the congressman’s sexual advances. Conyers has acknowledged the payout, which he amounted to a severance package, but he denied the allegations about what it was for.
The payout from Conyers’ office first became public in a report published by Buzzfeed on Monday, and came after a number of men in powerful positions in politics, entertainment, and media have faced public accusations of sexual harassment. The accusations have opened up a national conversation about how women are treated in the workplace by men in positions of power.
When asked specifically whether she believes the accusations against Conyers, Pelosi said, “I do not know who they are. Do you? They have not really come forward.”
She repeatedly said that she wants to see the House Ethics Committee investigation of Conyers play out.
Conyers holds a powerful position on Capitol Hill as ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee, and Pelosi would not say yet whether she would move to strip him of that position.
“I’m not sharing that with you right now,” she said Sunday.
Notice how Pelosi defends people in her own party. Wouldn’t it be nice if the GOP operated that way?
I kinda think that these people are going to regret going so hard on Moore.
Because saying people deserve due process is valid. Sure, when you pay people off, that is something close to an admission, but it isn’t an actual admission. So there is an argument there.
But they have sacrificed that by saying that a guy who is being accused for the first time of something that allegedly happened 4 decades ago doesn’t deserve anything at all.
And there are dozens more of these payouts. And they’re eventually going to have to unseal the whole thing.
All of these people are going to have excuses.
In my view, we should believe our own guys and not believe our enemies. There is no other way to go about this, because other than an Al Franken situation, where there is photographic evidence and an admission, there is no way to know either way.
