A big problem with being a weed dealer is that every colorful individual within a ten-mile radius intends to rob you at some point.
And most blacks simply haven’t worked out yet that you can rob someone without killing them.
An Easton woman has been charged with homicide in the shooting death of a 22-year-old Monroe County man during an armed robbery involving three gunmen who remain at large, according to arrest records.
Deani Adayja Powell, 19, of the 100 block of Highlands Boulevard, was also charged with robbery and aggravated assault in the death of Dylan Beinert of Effort, who was shot Wednesday night with two other people at a residence on Silver Maple Road in Chestnuthill Township.
The other victims, identified in court records as Walter Durante and his son, Khalil Durante, were critically injured and being treated at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono.
According to an arrest affidavit filed by state police at Fern Ridge, Powell admitted planning a robbery with two men she knew as “Flex” and “Pop.” They, and a third, unidentified man, have not been arrested.
According to the affidavit:
A witness told police that Beinert had invited her to the residence and said he was expecting the arrival of a woman he had contacted through social media.
The witness said the woman, later identified as Powell, arrived and arranged to buy marijuana from Beinert. When Powell and Beinert left the house so the woman could get her wallet, two armed men — one wearing a pig mask and the other a black mask — entered the room and told the witness to put her hands up.
Beinert and his roommate, Khalil Durante, entered the room. Beinert began struggling with one of the gunmen. After Durante joined the struggle, two shots were fired. The witness said Durante coughed up blood and Beinert was unresponsive.
The gunman then ordered the witness, Khalil Durante and Walter Durante, who had been in another room, to lay on the floor of the kitchen, where a third, unmasked armed man entered.
The gunman returned to Beinert’s room and took the witnesses’ cellphone and car keys and a box of marijuana belonging to Beinert. He then ordered the witness and the Durantes outside, where the unmasked gunman said “Say your prayers” and shot Khalil Durante, then Walter Durante.
The gunmen then fled in two vehicles parked near the house.

Powell was arraigned by District Judge Colleen Mancuso and committed without bond to Monroe County Correctional Facility.
