Suspect nog.
Into that lucrative dollar store robbery business.
Henry County police are on the lookout for a man suspected in as many as four armed robberies at discount stores in the northern part of the county.
Police say the man carried a black semi-automatic handgun and covered his face with a white paper towel in robberies at stores in Stockbridge and Ellenwood over the last several months.
The latest robbery occurred at about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Dollar General on the corner of Ga. Highway 155 N. and Ga. Highway 138 in Stockbridge.
“A black male wearing light blue scrubs, black hoodie, carrying a black semi-automatic handgun tucked in his waistband entered the store covering his face with a white paper towel,” Detective T. Slaton said in a press release. “It appears the same male has committed three additional robberies at other locations in Henry County.”
