Ever since the 2020 election hoax, I’ve said secession is the only option. I remember calling into the Ralph Retort on November 9 and saying “this is over, we need to just start pushing for secession right now.”
Of course, the whole “Stop the Steal” thing turned into a thing, and I wasn’t going to not support that kind of rallying and organization, but it was obvious that there was no possible way to overturn the election after the SCOTUS had sided with the scammers.
Do people even remember that? The whole thing hinged on the “conservative” Supreme Court telling Pennsylvania (and thus every other state) that they could take as long as they wanted to count the votes, which then allowed them to ship in new ballots. SCOTUS basically turned over the election to Joe Biden.
Go back and read what I wrote at the time that the court made that ruling – I said “there is no way out of this, Trump loses.” I was pushing secession before the election even happened, because I knew Trump couldn’t possibly win under Covid election rules. The court gave Dems a blank check to commit fraud.
Now, the people are finally coming around.

Many residents of Republican-controlled states who voted for Donald Trump in 2020 believe they would be “better off” if their state seceded from the US, a new poll has revealed.
About 33% of Trump voters in so-called red states say they’d personally fare better if their state “became an independent country,” according to a Yahoo/YouGov poll released on Friday. That compares with 29% who believe they’d be “worse off” after secession. The remaining 38% are either unsure or see themselves faring “about the same” in a newly independent state.
The margin was similar when Americans were asked how their state as a whole would fare after secession, with 35% of Trump voters speculating it would be better off, versus 30% saying that it would be worse off.
The poll is the latest illustration of increasing political polarization and cultural division in American life. Half of Americans believe there will be another US civil war in their lifetime and that the country will cease to be a democracy at some point, an earlier Yahoo/YouGov poll showed in June.
So, polling is always weird. But if more say “yes” than “no,” then “yes” wins. The third of people who are “unsure” would obviously go along with it if they don’t feel strongly enough to say “no.”
The question is obviously worded wrong anyway – we’re not talking about individual states becoming independent countries precisely, we’re talking about a confederacy of independent states. What we want is a referendum in all states, on the same day, for secession. Blue states too. Democrats have high levels of secession-support too, because they hate Republicans.
So the secession vote will basically be “we’re splitting the country in two, which side do you want to be on?”
If “democracy” was real, we’d be allowed to have that vote as a straight yay/nay referendum.
As the US Empire loses power on the world stage, this sort of thing is going to become possible.
We’ll have big ports in Texas, probably Florida.
We won’t have access to the Pacific, but that is the shittiest ocean of all anyway.
The real way to do it would be county-by-county, but there is no real system to make that happen, and it would mean we wouldn’t have any urban areas at all, basically. But we would have access to the Pacific, via Oregon. Also, blue counties could be starved out, and forced to pay exorbitant prices for food.
I mean, at this point, no one can seriously argue that left and right can ever get along. Either one side is going to have to violently inflict its will on the other side, or we have to separate.
Only path to victory, this is.
