Pope Tells Young People in the Ukraine to Forgive Russia

Finally, the Pope says something I actually agree with.

Hopefully, he doesn’t ruin it by following it up with “you can join gay relationships with the Russians, and you can all become trannies together.”

RT:

Pope Francis has urged young Ukrainians to exercise forgiveness in the face of the country’s conflict with Russia, despite all the suffering and destruction that has ensued. The leader of the Catholic church has previously drawn sharp rebukes from Kiev for calling on the Ukrainian leadership to negotiate peace with Moscow.

Speaking via video link during a Q&A session with Ukrainian youth in and outside the country last Saturday, the Pope said it was important to resist the urge to “respond to a punch with another punch.”

Forgiveness is one of the hardest things. It is difficult for everyone, even for me,” he expounded, urging the listeners to “keep moving forward and always forgive.”

According to the pontiff, “life today is devalued. Money and war positions are given more importance than human life itself.”

Pope Francis suggested that the “remedy is dialogue… even with those who oppose us.”

Please, never grow tired of dialogue,” the pope added.

I don’t totally agree with it, because the Russians don’t need to be forgiven, because they literally did nothing wrong.

But the general sentiment, that the country needs to move on from this psychopathic hatred of their countrymen (who they’ve been convinced are not their countrymen by stupid American propaganda), is a good message for the youth.
