A pregnant woman was shot five times in a drive-by shooting in Savannah, Tennessee, on Wednesday night.
According to family, Haley Smith, 23, was shot at Dodge’s Chicken, a restaurant in Savannah.
Smith is five months pregnant with twin babies.
Smith’s mother said Smith left home to watch fireworks. Twenty minutes later, she called back screaming that she was bleeding and needed her mother to meet her at the hospital.
Smith was shot five times in the arms, chest, breast, and shoulder.
One person, Lakeevan Barnes, is in custody for the shooting, but police are actively searching for two more shooters, Demark Atkins and Antonio Adams, according to Tennessee River Valley News.
