He looks like an honest enough bloke.
This is not a good defense, as someone will probably be able to check the dates and find out that Andrew was there when Epstein had underage girls around to sleep with.
It also comes across as though he is defending not only himself, but Epstein as well.

Prince Andrew has defended his former friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, saying “at no stage” did he “see or suspect” any criminal behaviour.
Epstein, 66, took his own life in a jail cell this month while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
In a statement, the Duke of York said he wanted to “clarify the facts” around his “former association or friendship” with the US financier.
He said it was a “mistake” to meet Epstein after he left prison in 2010.
“During the time I knew him, I saw him infrequently and probably no more than only once or twice a year,” the prince said.
“I have stayed in a number of his residences. At no stage during the limited time I spent with him did I see, witness or suspect any behaviour of the sort that subsequently led to his arrest and conviction.”
The duke – who said he first met Epstein in 1999 – added that he had “tremendous sympathy” for all those affected by Epstein’s behaviour.
“His suicide has left many unanswered questions and I acknowledge and sympathise with everyone who has been affected and wants some form of closure.”
What Andrew SHOULD have said was that he would only regularly visit Jeffrey Epstein to try to talk him out of having sex with underage girls.
“Yes, I saw him with these jailbaits, and that’s why I was always going to his house – to try and talk him out of engaging in these activities!”
“Listen, mate, you gotta stop doing this! It’s just not right!”
That not only clears him of any wrongdoing, but makes him look like a hero!
He could also easily explain this troublesome photograph of himself with Roberts:
“C’mon, we gotta get you out of here!”
“Yes, I knew what was going on in that house – when that picture was taken, I was trying to rescue that underage girl!”
It was also unfortunately exposed that Ghislaine Maxwell, the daughter of a Mossad agent and presumably Epstein’s handler, visited Andrew at Buckingham Palace for some sort of chat.
A former police officer has claimed that Jeffrey Epstein’s ‘madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell made several secret visits to Buckingham Palace to visit Prince Andrew.
Paul Page, who served in the Royal Protection Command from 1998 until 2004, alleged that Maxwell and several other women made trips to the palace to meet with the Duke of York.
He said that the female guests wouldn’t sign the Palace’s gate book and royal protection officers would even drive them home, or face an angry Andrew who’d become ‘abusive’ if challenged.
To explain that away, within the “I am a hero” excuse, he could say that Maxwell came to see him to try and get him to stop telling Epstein to stop having sex with underage girls – but that he pressed forward with his agenda to rescue these teens by reforming Epstein.
Because, the bottom line is that he should have called Anglin Crisis Management Services – if he had, he would not be in this situation.
