Cocaine was the fuel behind Princess Leia’s acting performances in the original Star Wars trilogy.
Princess Leia was a habitual cocaine and drug user. She admitted this several years ago but was believed to have sobered up in her final years.
It turns out that this was not true. She was actually snorting cocaine and doing drugs right up until her death late last year!
AP:
Carrie Fisher’s autopsy report shows the actress had cocaine in her system when she fell ill on a plane last year, but investigators could not determine what impact the cocaine and other drugs found in her system had on her death.
The report released Monday states Fisher may have taken cocaine three days before the Dec. 23 flight on which she became ill. She died four days later.
It also found traces of heroin, other opiates and MDMA, which is also known as ecstasy, but that they could not determine when Fisher had taken those drugs. The findings were based on toxicology screenings done on samples taken when the “Star Wars” actress arrived at a Los Angeles hospital.
John Belushi who was one of the entertainment industry’s biggest drug abusers once told her that she had a cocaine problem. If someone like that tells you that you have a drug problem, it is safe to say that you have a drug problem. Unfortunately for her, she did not follow Mr. Belushi’s warnings based on what we see in the autopsy report.

So what would possess a woman like Princess Leia to snort so much cocaine? Was it tainted genetics from her Jewish father Eddie Fisher? Or was she permanently traumatized after getting enslaved and raped by Jabba the Hutt in Return of the Jedi?
These are questions that will be pondered for many years to come. One thing is for sure, Princess Leia will go down in history as one of the world’s most prolific cocaine abusers of all time. Four decades of continual cocaine abuse is pretty impressive but for all of the wrong reasons!
