“Alcoholism” is defined as the state of needing alcohol to function in life.

The “solution” to the “problem” of “alcoholism” is simply to drink alcohol – just as the “solution” to the “problem” of “foodaholism” is to eat food.

How is this complicated?

Grab a bottle, you pussy, and keep on governing.

Politico:

Rep. Tom Garrett (R-Va.) said Monday that he is an alcoholic and will not seek reelection in November — a decision that came amid mounting scrutiny into his handling of his congressional office.

The 46-year-old Garrett was the subject of a POLITICO report on Friday citing four former aides who said that the congressman and his wife, Flanna, had used official staff to run errands and take care of their dog. In his Monday statement, he called the allegations “a series of half-truths and whole lies.”

Oh so is this the new #metoo movement?

“Me too I also had to take care of my boss’ dog”?

What nonsense.

“The recent attacks on my family are a series of half-truths and whole lies,” he said, seeming to hold back tears. “But there’s one area where I haven’t been honest. The tragedy is that any person Republican, Democrat or independent who’s known me for period of time and has any integrity knows two things: I am a good man and I am an alcoholic.

G-g-g-g-g-g-gayyyyy.

He should have been like “yeah that bitch fed my dog, because I was too wasted to pour the dog food in the bowl without spilling it all over the floor. And I slapped her ass while she was doing it – because I’m the BOSS MAN.”

Not even joking.

Everyone is ready for someone to come out and say something like that at a press conference. He’s a Republican and more Republicans than not would be like “wow yeah this dude is BASED AF – we need more guys like him in Congress.”

This guy wasn’t even that bad.

Even while completely shitfaced, he could go on TV and basically make sense.

People are just such cowards these days.

The don’t have the nerve to do what needs to be done.
