Daily Stormer

Last week, Daily Stormer published an article regarding the difference between regular nationalists and “skull-mask nationalists.”
I didn’t write the article, but it seemed very clear to me that it should be very clear to anyone that the article was not intended to talk about the skull mask itself or condemn skull masks, but instead to draw a distinction between people who get involved in the nationalist movement because they want to do something good, and people who get involved because they want to embody the caricature of evil, violent street thugs that the media has painted for us.
William Pierce talked about the difference between us and them, labeling the latter sort “defective people.”
But I saw the comments seemed to focus on the mask itself, which I don’t think anyone has any specific problem with. The author, Roy Batty, is European and was referring to the scene there, where the skull mask has grown to have certain connotations. But look: antifa was wearing it before nationalists and racist bikers and Mexican gangs were wearing it before antifa, so whatever – it’s not a well defined symbol of anything specific.
So, to just be clear: no, Daily Stormer is not condemning skull masks. The issue is a mindset and a type of person, a destructive, rebellious, anti-social type of person who gets involved in the movement for reasons other than wanting to build something.
