Video has emerged from one of the “Reddit Rambos” who went to the Ukraine to fight in a war because he felt sad after seeing a war on social media, and probably also thought it would get him laid.
He is yet another deserter. He tells the tale of his desertion, claiming that the Ukrainians are not letting redditors leave the country – that they are being turned away at the Polish border, and told to go back to their post as cannon fodder on the front lines. He says they take people’s passports and cut them up. I lol’d.
He’s lucky they haven’t started doing to deserters what all deserters deserve and shooting them. It has been a common understanding all through the history of warfare that deserters must be shot. Well, I guess before the invention of guns, they were beheaded or whatever. Anyway – desertion has always been met with summary execution by any serious military.
I remember some leftist teacher trying to tell me that while the US executed deserters in WWI, Canada didn’t, and Canada had the same number of deserters. Well, it turned out that was a total hoax on like, three or four different levels. I can’t find the data right now, but anyone can do the research. You have to shoot deserters. It’s a fact.
I’ve watched enough Vietnam war films to have some modicum of sympathy for conscripts who desert. I still think they must be shot, but I at least have sympathy. But nigga – you volunteered for this. You’re from r/VolunteersForUkraine. No sympathy.
I obviously don’t support the Ukraine or their cause or believe it is a country. But it’s the principle.
Anyway, if the Ukraine started shooting reddit deserters, I can see how that would be bad optics, and also, they’re going to die anyway on the front lines of a war against Russia.
This guy says that the call for foreigners to join the war effort is “a trap.” In fact, these people are just retards. In any war, you are going to send the least trained soldiers to be cannon fodder on the front lines.

Hilariously though, he confirms that the Ukraine is lying about the foreign dead, because they want to keep luring more of these meat shields from reddit. That is what everyone other than the Ukraine government has said. Russia said it killed 180 foreigners in one bombing raid, and other deserters have put the number at “more than 200.”
