We really do need to have IQ checks for politicians because this is just getting embarrassing.
However, until we do something about the abysmally low intellectual capital of our politicians, the menace of Russian prank callers will continue unabated.
Which is a positive thing, all considered.

US Congresswoman Maxine Waters has allegedly fallen for a prank call in which she thought activist Greta Thunberg was offering her a tape of Donald Trump confessing to pressuring Ukraine into investigating his political rivals.
YouTube pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov, who go by the names Vovan and Lexus, are claiming they tricked Waters (Dem-Calif.) into thinking she was speaking to teen climate change activist Greta Thunberg.
They’ve tricked Maxine Waters before. She’s an incredibly easy mark because she’s black, slow and old.
If the Russians are going to be prank calling anyone, they’re going to focus on the most gullible people. Naturally, they’re going to end up pranking blacks, women and Boomers more often than others.
Vovan and Lexus made names for themselves by previously pranking Congressman Adam Schiff (Dem-Calif.) into thinking there were nude photos of US President Donald Trump that Schiff could get his hands on. They also claim to have pranked Waters two years ago, in a phone call where one posed as Ukraine’s prime minister.
Though Waters herself has not responded to the new video, the woman at the other end of the phone identifies herself as the congresswoman and sounds an awful lot like her.
In the call, the pranksters pretend to be Thunberg and her father, with help from a female colleague, and claim to have proof that Trump pressured the Ukrainian government into investigating his political rivals, something Democrats have claimed, for months now, is true.
Greta’s ‘father’ says on the call that his ‘daughter’ met Trump and he admitted to wrongdoing.
“He said to her, ‘You know, little girl, nobody believe you anyway, I will tell you the truth. I really pushed on Ukrainian president and you know that you will never achieve your goals like those congressional fools that accuse me,” the prankster posing as the famous teenager’s father says.
“Oh my God, he mentioned the Ukrainian president?” the woman who identifies herself as Waters responds.
The Russians have really honed in on the fact that the Democrats actually do seem to think that Donald Trump is some cartoonishly evil Darth Sidious figure in the White House who monologues at little girls and explains his dastardly hair-brained schemes to them so that they can stop him at the last moment with the power of love and friendship or something.
But we all know the truth about Trump at this point.
Evil mastermind he is not. God-Emperor of Mankind fighting the Globalists in the astral dimension #Qanon #WWG1WGA he is not either. Diet Coke-addled Boomer who listens to his daughter for foreign policy advice and handed over his administration to the neocon D-team – well, that sounds more like something approaching reality.
Anyways, making fun of the retarded is fun and all, but it really is shocking that we give people this dumb the keys to powerful positions in the most powerful nation on the Earth. It seems that you have to be really dumb or really compromised to make it in Washington.
And this is true on both sides of the aisle.

It’s only slightly less retarded than Maxine Waters getting repeatedly fooled by the same Russian prank-callers telling tall tales about impeachment and harebrained Wile E. Coyote schemes.
If we had smart people in Washington, maybe things would be better.
Or would they be worse?
