When people say “RFK Jr. is interesting,” they are mostly talking about his anti-vax views.
However, from what I’ve seen, I agree with many or most of his views.
He’s anti-globalism, anti-war, anti-immigration, anti-global warming hoax, and pro-Bitcoin.
RT:
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will become the first presidential candidate in US history to receive campaign contributions and donations in Bitcoin, according to an announcement on Friday.
Kennedy Jr. shared his own experience with the virtual currency, warning that the technology could enable government totalitarianism across the world. He pledged to protect the rights of Bitcoin users if elected.
“As president, I will make sure that your right to hold and use bitcoin is inviolable,” Kennedy Jr. said at the Bitcoin 2023 conference. “I am an ardent defender and lifelong defender of civil liberties and Bitcoin is both an exercise and a guarantee of those freedoms.”
Earlier this month, Kennedy Jr. stated that “crypto technologies are a major innovation engine,” adding that the US is hobbling the industry and driving “innovation elsewhere.”
Speaking at the conference, he vowed “to show the world the power and the durability and the flexibility of Bitcoin.”
We haven’t had a statement this strong from Donald Trump on the issue.
Trump might just say it, or he might start talking about the importance of the dollar, but then also add “people can do whatever they want, but I support the dollar.”
Though Trump is a realist on most of the issues, he still has some obsolete thinking. To be fair, being pro-dollar was not obsolete thinking before the coronavirus hoax and the Russia sanctions. But now, as things stand, a responsible American government would be looking for an exit from the dollar that doesn’t result in total Chinese dominion over the global economy – i.e., they would be agreeing to buy into a plan for gold to once again be reestablished as the global reserve currency, or even replacing gold with Bitcoin.
There is no other real world solution than for the US to get out now before the Chinese figure their dedollarization plan out and start dumping US treasuries.
Otherwise, on most points, RFK Jr. is just a non-racist version of Donald Trump. He’s a populist, and populism is always going to lean toward a consensus, whether left or right.
