There is no clear reason they would do this unless they are attempting to put together a case against Donald Trump. Maybe they won’t indict Trump, but thinking about doing that is the only reason they would do this.

Federal agents raided Rudy Giuliani’s Manhattan home and office Wednesday, seizing computers and cellphones in a major escalation of the Justice Department’s investigation into the business dealings of former President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer.
Giuliani, the 76-year-old former New York City mayor once celebrated for his leadership after 9/11, has been under federal scrutiny for several years over his ties to Ukraine. The dual searches sent the strongest signal yet that he could eventually face federal charges.
Agents searched Giuliani’s Madison Avenue apartment and Park Avenue office, people familiar with the investigation told The Associated Press. The warrants, which required approval from the top levels of the Justice Department, signify that prosecutors believe they have probable cause that Giuliani committed a federal crime — though they do not guarantee that charges will materialize.
A third search warrant was served on a phone belonging to Washington lawyer Victoria Toensing, a former federal prosecutor and close ally of Giuliani and Trump. Her law firm issued a statement saying she was informed that she is not a target of the investigation.
The full scope of the investigation is unclear, but it at least partly involves Giuliani’s dealings in Ukraine, law enforcement officials have told the AP.
The people discussing the searches and Wednesday’s developments could not do so publicly and spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity. News of the search was first reported by The New York Times.
In a statement issued through his lawyer, Giuliani accused federal authorities of a “corrupt double standard,” invoking allegations he’s pushed against prominent Democrats, and said that the Justice Department was “running rough shod over the constitutional rights of anyone involved in, or legally defending, former President Donald J. Trump.”
This is absolutely what it is.
It has nothing to do with the Ukraine. This Ukraine nonsense is convoluted and confusing, and is clearly being presented to the public in a way that is meant to not make any sense.
For those who don’t recall, the basic claim was that Rudy called up the Ukrainian president and asked him to investigate Hunter Biden’s relationship to Burisma, an energy company that was itself already under investigation by the Ukrainian government.
This is all related to the first Donald Trump impeachment, which is something Trump has already been tried for during the impeachment trial.
They also claim that Giuliani, completely separately, did some kind of business related to lobbying with some Ukrainians, who may have been Russian, and that this implies some kind of vague criminal activity.
The basis of this search warrant is apparently that Giuliani “failed to register as a foreign agent.” Even if courts decide he should have registered – and the rules about that are confusing – failing to register is a minor offense.
You can check out the “prominent cases” list on the Wikipedia page, and see that even if people were involved in a conspiracy to lobby for a foreign government while not registering, they don’t go to prison. Most people found to be violating this act are simply given a fine and told to register. (It’s nowhere near as serious as Hunter Biden lying on a federal background check to buy a gun, just as an example.)
And again – whether or not Giuliani qualifies as a foreign agent isn’t clear at all, and he probably doesn’t, but even if that is the charge, and even if he is convicted of it, raiding his home and office and seizing his computers like this is insane.
Basically, the only logical explanation for this is that they’re trying to see if they can get Rudy to flip and testify against Donald Trump, presumably for something completely unrelated to Russia. Giuliani is Trump’s closest confidant other than the MyPillow guy, so if they can get him to turn states, they can build a case against Trump on whatever they want.
They raided Giuliani because they want to go fishing on his computers and see if they can find something. Probably in the end they’ll come out with some bullshit about taxes, which is what they almost always do, because no one understands the tax code and if they open up all your private files they can always figure out some crime or other related to taxes that you could conceivably have done.
Trump to Prison?
My initial assertion in 2020 was that if Trump lost the election, he would be sentenced to prison.
However, following the election, and the obviousness of the fraud, I said that it then seemed likely that they would want him to stick around in a diminished role in the public world, and to pump people up about his 2024 run.
What happened in the 2020 election is that they set up the mail-in voting system as a way to do mass fraud. We’ve been all the way through the details of how that works – everyone was sent out a ballot, no one knew where these ballots ended up, and anyone could collect them, fill them out and drop them off. The Democrats thought this would be enough to win the election.
However, such huge numbers of people turned out to vote Trump that even this massive fraud of the mail-in ballots was not enough to swing the election for Joe Biden. Therefore, the governments of several swing states were forced to stop the vote counting and bring in new votes. They closed up the windows and would not allow anyone to observe the process.
This looked really bad, and led to a situation where the overwhelming majority of Republicans believed the entire election was a gigantic hoax.
Therefore, it seemed to me, that there was a good chance that the Biden Administration would view it as a good thing that Trump was out in public, saying he was going to run in 2024, keeping people engaged in the system. This is a way to pacify the people, you see. “We’ll get ’em next time” is always the way the people are pacified.
But maybe they’ve decided the people don’t need to be pacified? Or that they don’t care if the people are pacified?
Who knows?
As far as I can tell, the Biden Administration is being run by moronic millennials who don’t really have any idea what they’re doing, and don’t really care very much about anything. So they may just decide to swoop on everyone in a shock and awe display.
The best thing now would be if Rudy comes out with evidence that the Jews did 911.
As far as Trump going to prison – I personally think that would be the best option here, strategically. If Trump doesn’t go to prison – or doesn’t have to flee the country, which is his other option – then people are just going to continue to believe in this nonsense about 2024.
After an election is stolen in the way the 2020 election was stolen, the opposition is not going to win another election. The Democrats have total control over the government. There is zero reason that they would give up that power in an election. So all of this stuff about “2024” is bullshit and a distraction.
People need to accept that the government is gone now and it’s not coming back. We need to start coming up with alternative solutions. We need to start thinking about building a parallel society. We need to settle in for the long haul. This government is going to collapse, eventually, and we need to figure out ways to manage our own agendas until it does, so that we are prepared after it does.
