Russia did Victory Day on Sunday – with no masks!
This is the biggest parade in Russia, held annually on May 9 to celebrate winning World War II.
I was really wondering if they were going to go full mask faggot, and they did not.
Neo-Nazis often whine about Russians celebrating winning World War II, which I don’t really understand. What are they supposed to do? Say “actually, we should have lost this war on purpose, because Adolf Hitler was really great”?
The war wasn’t really about Nazism vs. Communism for the Russians, it was about Germany vs. Russia, which is a conflict that goes back maybe a thousand years before the advent of Nazism or Communism.
Obviously, I think everyone can probably agree that it would have been better for the world if Joseph Stalin had aligned himself with Hitler against the common threat of international Judaism. Anyone who doesn’t understand that is not really on the ball.
However, history is history. My grandfather fought in World War II, and I’m proud of him like I’m proud of all my ancestors who fought. Honoring the history is about honoring the men – it’s not about politics.
Maybe in modern Russia it is sort of about politics, but it’s now about Russia standing against modern Germany.
Furthermore, on the issue of Nazism: rehabilitating Nazi Germany is not really anything anyone should be especially focused on in current year. In fact, anyone who thinks rehabilitating Nazi Germany is important is either a moron, a hobbyist or a fed.
The war ended 76 years ago. It doesn’t matter what happened.
Actually one thing does matter: the fact that there were no gas chambers. That matters.
I go back and forth on the importance of pointing that out in whatever contexts. Like obviously, people who say “Tucker Carlson should deny gas chambers on his show” are not serious people. But I do think that on the internet, we should always continue to say that there is no evidence of these Jewish genocide gas chambers.
I’m now at the point where I do not think anyone should ever say “the Holocaust didn’t happen.” What I have seen continually is that if you say that, people will start talking about how they’ve seen a tattoo.
When people are accused of being “Holocaust deniers” they should come back with “I never denied a ‘Holocaust’ – what I have denied is the claim that Jews were gassed to death in homicidal gas chambers designed as fake shower rooms.”
You have to reduce the argument to that: fake shower room gas chambers.
No one can win an argument claiming that fake shower room gas chambers existed, because there is no evidence they existed. It is a wild, baseless assertion. However, they can obviously win a debate by claiming that by “Holocaust” they mean “someone got sent to a camp and got a tattoo and then died of some cause.”
You can also go into “the allies bombed the supply lines to the camps in Poland so people starved to death” and other basic Holo-facts.
The issue is not whether Jews died or even how many Jews died, which is why Holocaust confirmers always try to move into those areas. They are shady and there are all kinds of different tangents they can run off into.
The core of the claim is that Jews were targeted for extermination and that this extermination was carried out by telling Jews they were going to get a free shower and then making gas come out of the shower head.
Packing people like sardines into a shower room, wooden doors, dragging millions of gas-riddled bodies with a hook, stacking three bodies in a crematorium designed for one and incinerating them to ash in 20 minutes – all of these facts can be brought up to support the fact that no such fake showers existed.
Back to Russia
Russia has various laws against denying the glory of the Red Army, but these are not really “Holocaust denial” laws, and they are certainly not “gas chamber denial” laws.
Russia is complaining now that they are being compared to Nazis, and a lot of non-Russian right-wingers are complaining that Russia is complaining about this. The whole thing strikes me as very emotional.
I get that everyone gets all teary eyed thinking of Uncle Adolf. But if you get to the point where you say “my own grandfather (or great-grandfather) was a cuck for not defecting to join the Nazis in World War II,” then you’ve pretty much totally lost the plot.
History is what history is, and the primary thing that it is is finished and done with. History only matters with regards to how it is affecting us now, and the only part of World War II history that really continues to affect us now is this nonsense about the fake shower rooms.
If Russia is able to use World War II to drum up outrage against Angela Merkel and NATO, then that is a practical matter and just good policy.
Neo-Nazis are ridiculously emotional, which is probably why they’re also all feminists.
That said, this should also be a day to remember the Germans.
This one goes out to Uncle Adolf – a man too good (and too nice) for this world, who truly belonged in the wildflowers with his gf, laughing and painting pictures:
