Russia has drawn a lot of red lines.
Maybe the Ukraine joining NATO is the real red line.
That is the biggest of the Russian demands. They do not want the Ukraine in NATO. If the Ukraine joined NATO, based on the current NATO treaty, it would automatically trigger an invasion of Crimea (I think).

It’s also noteworthy that the US is a whole lot weaker than they were ten or even five years ago. Yes, the US still has a totally incredible military, but the people running the country are just joke people. There’s a good possibility that they won’t do anything.
I mean, they are going to keep this harassment operation going – they seem very comfortable with issuing endless threats and menacing Russia and China with war machines.
But they are not pulling the trigger.
If they were going to pull the trigger, then over the course of the next few months would be the time to do it.
I keep saying that the Democrat Party doesn’t care what people think of them, and this is mostly true, but completely rigging an election under current circumstances would be quite a feat.
On the other hand, if we were entrenched in some kind of existential military conflict, the likes of which has not been seen since the end of World War II, then a lot of things would change domestically.
One thing to understand is that Russia doesn’t really get to decide when this starts. The US can very easily do a false flag to kick it off, whenever they want.
But Russia is moving nukes and says they’re ready to use them.
Americans are saying they’re ready to use nukes.
I think nuclear war is a great idea, by the way.
