I want to note that while a lot of people on the right were going nuts over the “Ruth Bader Ginsburg is dead” conspiracy, I put the brakes on that.
I think it was a fair conspiracy to entertain, but once they came out with “she went to a play,” I didn’t think that was being faked.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was back at the court on Friday for the justices’ private conference.
The Supreme Court’s Public Information Office told The Hill that Ginsburg was attending the regular closed-door meeting in which the justices consider requests to review cases. Ginsburg has been absent from the court since undergoing surgery in late December to remove two cancerous nodules from her lower left lung.
The 85-year-old justice missed oral arguments last month while recovering at home from the surgery. Her absence marked the first time in more than 25 years on the bench she was forced to miss arguments due to her health.
The court said last month that Ginsburg’s recovery was on track and that post-surgery evaluation indicated no evidence of remaining disease, and no further treatment was required.
The health scare raised concerns among liberals about how long Ginsburg will be able to remain on the bench. Supporters are hoping she will be able to remain on the court until a Democrat wins the White House and is able to name her successor.
I think she clearly had complications in her operations, which is why the media did a full-blackout on coverage of her situation. That is obvious.
So it is possible she is right on the edge of death and will die soon. Basically, she is trying to hold on until 2020. If she dies even 6 months before the election, Democrats know they can bully Trump into not picking a replacement.
And based on what I’ve been seeing in the last few weeks, it doesn’t appear that Trump is very likely to win in 2020.
Unless the Democrats eat each other alive in the primaries.
Jew rat Bill Maher was up there last night telling Democrats not to eat each other alive.
Even if they don’t eat each other alive, they’re going to go into a purity spiral of trying to one-up each other on how “progressive” they are. Anything any one of the candidates says becomes the position for the entire group of them. I was shocked Beto was out there talking about tearing down existing fence. But now that has to be the position of all candidates – “yes, we want the border to be even more open that it is now, and we will send in wrecking crews to tear down existing fence.”
So maybe they’ll go too extreme for the public through this purity process.
I don’t have any idea.
I don’t know where the public is on these things.
We see a lot of “anything but Trump sentiment.”
Certainly, the anti-Trump crazies control the streets.
But pro-Trump people get attacked by antifa who are working with the FBI if they step out of their houses.
Whatever the case, with the amount of election meddling that is going to go on and be completely justified after this whole Russian nonsense – it’s hard to picture a situation where Trump wins. He has done nothing to keep white people on social media, so anyone who views any social media during the campaign is going to believe that 100% of the country is against Trump.
