Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt plan to join BRICS, and their potential membership bids could be discussed and answered at next year’s summit in South Africa, Purnima Anand, the president of the organization, told Russian media on Thursday.
“All these countries have shown their interest in joining [BRICS] and are preparing to apply for membership. I believe this is a good step, because expansion is always looked upon favorably; it will definitely bolster BRICS’ global influence,” she told Russian newspaper Izvestia.
The BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) account for over 40% of the global population and nearly a quarter of the world’s GDP. The bloc’s stated purposes include promoting peace, security, development, and cooperation globally, and contributing to the development of humanity.
Anand said the issue of expansion was raised during this year’s BRICS summit, which took place in late June in Beijing.
The BRICS Forum president said she hopes the accession of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt will not take much time, given that they “are already engaged in the process,” though doubts that all three will join the alliance at the same time.
“I hope that these countries will join the BRICS quite shortly, as all the representatives of core members are interested in expansion. So it will come very soon,” Anand added.
Doing this right now – it means that Saudi Arabia and Turkey, two countries that are definitely not irrelevant, are spitting in the face of the Western alliance.
This is a big deal.
Antony Blinken is currently trying to threaten like, Thais and Indonesians, while Saudi Arabia and Turkey – which are supposed to be solid American allies – are switching sides.
Why is Blinken in Southeast Asia hopelessly trying to threaten irrelevant countries, instead of trying to keep very relevant countries that were already allied with the US from joining China and Russia?
This is all just completely inexplicable. We keep asking “who is in charge of Washington?” and the answer increasingly appears to be “literally no one.”
The gravest threat to the US is that all of these various countries do a coup against the US dollar. If they all start trading in their own currencies or some agreed upon third currency (it will probably be the digital yuan), then the US dollar is going to go into hyperinflation. There is nothing else that can happen – the entire basis of the US economy is the fact that the dollar is the world reserve currency.
A lot of people on the internet are acting like this is all part of some massive secret plan that the US has, and it’s like – what is the plan? To lose on purpose? To completely displace the Jews as the power elite of the planet earth?
Why would that be their plan?
It’s like that Obi-Wan Kenobi fan edit I liked so much.
Frankly, the claims that the elite actually want food riots in America is also just bizarre and doesn’t make any sense. Why would they want people with nothing to lose rioting?
I think we have a big problem where people who don’t really know anything about how the world works get a little bit of information about the World Economic Forum and whatever else, and then they take it in these really weird directions in order to explain everything that is happening as some kind of Illuminati master plan.
There is a plan to push people into poverty, to force them into government dependency, to reduce the world population, and so on. There is also a plan for a global government. But what is happening now doesn’t follow that plan, at all. Maybe some of the people involved are thinking, like “good, the rising price of oil will force people to downsize their lifestyle…” – but this doesn’t take into account the fact that all of this global power is being transferred to Russia and China.
Then people start saying stuff like “they want food riots!” and it’s like “why would they want that?” You end up in schizo type territory, where people are working backward from everything that is happening to try to explain how it is part of the plan, when the obvious explanation for what is happening is that the plans of the WEF and whoever else have gone totally awry, and the Western Liberal Order is facing an outright collapse.
Unless you are committed to believing that Jews are literally invincible, then I just don’t see any kind of logic to this thinking. If it looks like the Western elite are losing, if by every objective measure they are losing, the obvious conclusion is that they are actually losing. The fact that they don’t seem to know (or perhaps don’t even care) that they are losing doesn’t mean anything.
The bureaucracy of the Western elite is lined with people who believe in trannies, with black people and women.
Why would you expect them to be competent?
