Khalil Gaines, 23, has been indicted on charges of second-degree murder, armed criminal action and attempted drug possession in connection with the March 2016 killing of 18-year-old Landon Bays.
Friday’s arrest comes weeks after prosecutors announced 35-year-old Chad Murphy had been indicted on a murder charge in the case.
The grand jury indictment does not provide many details but paints the homicide as a drug deal gone bad.
The indictments say Bays was shot while attempting to sell more than 35 grams of marijuana to Murphy and Gaines.
