Second Negroid Charged with the Murder of Elderly White Store Owner

A teen who was initially reported missing is now wanted for murder.

Joshua Darek Manning, 19, is charged with the murder of Dillon store owner J.W. Bailey two weeks ago, according to Captain Cliff Arnette with Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.

Bailey was killed at his store, J.W. Bailey’s Grocery, on Highway 301 South in Dillon.

Manning is the second person charged in the murder.

William Latavion Mason, 20, is also charged in Bailey’s murder.

The Dillon Police Department said Manning’s mother reported him missing on December 20.

Dillon Police Lt. Jason Turner said he was last seen in the area of Walker Court off of Highway 301 South in Dillon.
