Sarah Silverman’s been in the hot seat over her appeal to the military to overthrow Trump. Technically speaking, this is sedition, but because Silverman doesn’t realistically have the means or connections to make such a fantasy come true, it is protected free speech and isn’t prosecuted.
But that isn’t the case for Rosa Brooks, the daughter of the infamous communist Barbara Ehrenreich and the Jew John Ehrenreich. Brooks has scores of contacts with the US government and military: high-level work at Soros and Neo-Con (Council on Foreign Relations) think-tanks influential on the American deep state, functioned as an important advisor in the Obama Pentagon, and currently is married to Army Special Forces Colonel Joseph Mauer.
Brooks has the means and knowledge of the American apparatus to at least plan a military coup. Her husband, the recently retired (2015) Lieutenant Colonel Mauer is as fervently anti-Trump as she is, creating more than enough circumstantial evidence to launch an immediate investigation.
According to Title 18 U.S. Code 2385,
Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States or the government of any State, Territory, District or Possession thereof, or the government of any political subdivision therein, by force or violence, or by the assassination of any officer of any such government; or
Whoever, with intent to cause the overthrow or destruction of any such government, prints, publishes, edits, issues, circulates, sells, distributes, or publicly displays any written or printed matter advocating, advising, or teaching the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying any government in the United States by force or violence, or attempts to do so; or
Whoever organizes or helps or attempts to organize any society, group, or assembly of persons who teach, advocate, or encourage the overthrow or destruction of any such government by force or violence; or becomes or is a member of, or affiliates with, any such society, group, or assembly of persons, knowing the purposes thereof—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both, and shall be ineligible for employment by the United States or any department or agency thereof, for the five years next following his conviction.
With that in mind, let’s read what Brooks wrote in the Jew-run Neo-Con unofficial mouth piece of the Council on Foreign Relations, Foreign Policy Magazine. The context in which this is written is set by the title, “3 Ways To Get Rid of Donald Trump Before 2020.”
The fourth possibility is one that until recently I would have said was unthinkable in the United States of America: a military coup, or at least a refusal by military leaders to obey certain orders.
The principle of civilian control of the military has been deeply internalized by the U.S. military, which prides itself on its nonpartisan professionalism. What’s more, we know that a high-ranking lawbreaker with even a little subtlety can run rings around the uniformed military. During the first years of the George W. Bush administration, for instance, formal protests from the nation’s senior-most military lawyers didn’t stop the use of torture. When military leaders objected to tactics such as waterboarding, the Bush administration simply bypassed the military, getting the CIA and private contractors to do their dirty work.
But Trump isn’t subtle or sophisticated: He sets policy through rants and late-night tweets, not through quiet hints to aides and lawyers. He’s thin-skinned, erratic, and unconstrained — and his unexpected, self-indulgent pronouncements are reportedly sending shivers through even his closest aides.
What would top U.S. military leaders do if given an order that struck them as not merely ill-advised, but dangerously unhinged? An order that wasn’t along the lines of “Prepare a plan to invade Iraq if Congress authorizes it based on questionable intelligence,” but “Prepare to invade Mexico tomorrow!” or “Start rounding up Muslim Americans and sending them to Guantánamo!” or “I’m going to teach China a lesson — with nukes!”
It’s impossible to say, of course. The prospect of American military leaders responding to a presidential order with open defiance is frightening — but so, too, is the prospect of military obedience to an insane order. After all, military officers swear to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, not the president. For the first time in my life, I can imagine plausible scenarios in which senior military officials might simply tell the president: “No, sir. We’re not doing that,” to thunderous applause from the New York Times editorial board.
Brook’s article is carefully crafted to be as legalistic as possible, but don’t doubt the former government official’s not-so-subtle toxic intent. Her presentation of how the branches of government are meant to function is made up and meant to incite the prospect of military insurrection, ergo, “teaches the duty” of sedition (violation of Title 18 on sedition).
The United States is not a ‘Praetorian’ society like Argentina or Greece, the military is not an independent force legally tasked with the duty of “protecting” the Constitution or checking the government. The President is the de facto leader of the armed forces at all times, hence the title “Commander In Chief.”
The legal case here is at least as strong as the ones the Federal government have previously brought up against Matt Hale, Hal Turner (a federal agent entrapping people) and others for “threatening” a judge years ago. The days of a two-tier justice system must end, and the increasing insolence of American Jewry in their brazen calls to kill, overthrow and illegally undermine the election of President Trump must be crushed before it gains traction.
The SPLC has even been trying to find some way to silence the Daily Stormer through legally facile means (watch what you say in the comments section) over our criticism of the cabal of unelected officials who are trying to block Trump’s immigration order. We don’t go anywhere near calling for military coups or violence, and neither chief editor Andrew Anglin or any other journalist here has the means to execute such a conspiracy if we did – unlike Brooks.
Commander in Chief Trump and recently approved Attorney General Jeff Sessions must launch a federal investigation into Rosa Brooks and her Army Colonel husband.
