A woman is charged in connection with the ambush-style robbery of a Cleveland priest who dodged gunfire as he ran for his life.
Kenitra Robinson, 18, is charged with attempted murder, felonious assault, aggravated robbery, kidnapping and receiving stolen property. She is free after posting a $20,000 bond on Saturday.
Her arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 5.
Four teens — two 16-year-old boys, a 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl — are charged with the juvenile equivalents of aggravated robbery, felonious assault and receiving stolen property.
Robinson is accused of being part of a group that was with the two teens who robbed Rev. John Kumse on Dec. 11 outside St. Mary of the Assumption, located on Holmes Avenue near East 155th Street in the city’s Collinwood neighborhood.
The robbers ran up, pointed a gun at Kumse and said “give me the eggs,” police reports say.
