Petrus Moyo, who was arrested on the assault and murder of Dr Emslie and his family at Lephalale and then escaped twice, was found guilty of the murder of Dr Emslie, attempted murder of his wife, robbery with aggravating circumstances as well as robbery, housebreaking and theft.
The sentence is expected at a later time. It’s a happy day for HPG as they were involved from start to finish. Congratulations also to the investigating officer W/O Oostie Oosthuizen of Lephalale and his team and to the prosecutor in the case Adv Kobus Jacobs.
