It was just before 3 o’clock the night between 13-14 July that a woman of 45 was attacked and exposed to a rape in central Hedemora. The woman had been to a restaurant and was alone on her way home when she was attacked.
According to the police, the assault and rape must have taken place in the so-called Apoteksparken at Myrgatan.
Now the police have come out with a picture of the man.
“In the investigation of the rape in Hedemora the night of July 14, the police are still keen to get in touch with people who have moved in the area during the current time or other people who can provide information about the crime,” wrote the police on their site today.
The police have been assisted by the National Operational Department (NOA) in reconstructing the perpetrator’s appearance.
The perpetrator is a man of 25-35 years of age, normal height and body shape. The man should have dark / black back-combed hair and a large broad nose. He was wearing a dark wine red or brown t-shirt, sneakers in the same color, bright jeans, no jacket. The man wore a wide necklace / necklace, type Bismarck, in gold or silver. The man spoke Swedish with an accent, and the victim makes the assessment that the perpetrator originates from the Middle East.
