During Friday night, police were alerted by a woman in her upper teens who told her she had been raped in central Helsingborg between 21 and 22 o’clock on Friday evening. The rape took place outdoors by a foreign man.
She has been subjected to sexual acts by a man. We have been barred from the crime scene and have called in special search dogs who are searching for tracks, says Marcus Andersson, internal commander of the police.
The woman has been taken to hospital to secure evidence and to receive care.
She has had some injuries, says Marcus Andersson.
The police are investigating the case as gross rape.

The police have no suspects at this time.
