Police in Newnan arrested a 16-year-old boy after they say he tried to carjack seven drivers.
David Huggins said leapt into action when he saw someone try to steal his pickup truck with his wife still inside.
“I’m up here on top of him, I got him, I reach in I turn the key, threw them out, still holding on,” said Huggins.
Huggins said that some point during the scuffle, the suspect bit him before getting away.
“It felt pretty good, it went deep,” Huggins said.
Huggins says the alleged carjacker then tried to steal a neighbor’s van. When that didn’t work, he allegedly tried to take David Donnahoo’s van.
“I grabbed him and we wrestled and wrestled,” said Donnahoo. “Because I am handicapped, my knees gave out on me and he took advantage of that and slammed me into the road.”
