Bond is set at $1 million for a suspect in a deadly shooting late Monday night in in the 3700 block of Dustin Court in Killeen.
Jovino Jamel Roy, 25 of Copperas Cove, was in the Bell County Jail Thursday charged with murder.
According to The Department of Defense Manpower Data Center, Roy is an an active army service member.
Police Wednesday identified the victim of the shooting as Michael Steven Wardrobe, 22.

Officers found Wardrobe lying the front yard of a home after responding to a report of the shooting at around 10:45 p.m. Monday.
He had been shot repeatedly.
Wardrobe was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers arrested Roy at a nearby convenience store.
The shooting occurred after an argument between Wardrobe and another man turned physical, police spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez said Wednesday.
“During the altercation the suspect fired several shots at the victim and fled the area,” she said.
