This Again? Ninth Circuit Court Rules Against Trump Travel Ban

Another chink is involved this time as well? What’s with these chinks?

For most judges, the prospect of being over-ruled by a higher court is profoundly unsettling. In the field of law, being over-ruled on a decision is a symptom of incompetence, either because of bias or ignorance of the law, and thus can be a blow to a judge’s reputation and career.

But the judges of the ninth circuit of appeals don’t fit the mold. According to the American bar association, 80% of their decisions are reversed on appeal. But they don’t care – they know better.

Tfw the American bar calls you out as a “rogue court.”

These people are clowns pushing a liberal political agenda, and have no concern about the actual law or constitution. If something gives them bad feels, then it must be somehow illegal, right?

And so predictably, even after the supreme court ruled earlier this month that Trump’s travel ban could be put into practice (strongly implying that they saw no immediate legal issue with it), the ninth circuit comes out with their own ruling against it.

New York Times:

A federal appeals court ruled Friday against President Trump’s latest travel ban, saying that it “exceeds the scope of his delegated authority,” but that it was ultimately for the Supreme Court to decide.

A three-judge panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in Seattle affirmed the decision of a federal judge in Hawaii who ruled on Oct. 17 that the order was unlawful on statutory grounds.

The ruling on Friday was a procedural but important step. This month, the Supreme Court allowed the ban — the third version issued by the Trump administration — to take effect for now, and encouraged the appeals courts to rule on the case, a sign that it intended to take up the matter. The Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit is considering a similar ruling out of Maryland.

Wew, these retards should learn to take a hint.

The supreme court was like, “we’re blocking your blocking – please make your stupid ruling quickly so we can then reverse that too.” And so they did.

And now the media is somehow spinning this as a victory for them?

Neal Katyal, who argued the case before the Ninth Circuit court for the state of Hawaii, hailed the decision. “We are very pleased the Court of Appeals recognized that the president’s latest travel ban is flatly illegal,” he said, “and that his order defies the law Congress has laid down.”

Lauren Ehrsam, a spokeswoman for the Justice Department, said the Trump administration was “pleased” that the Supreme Court had already allowed the government to carry out the order.

“We continue to believe that the order should be allowed to take effect in its entirety,” she said.

Yeah.

This ruling has no practical effect – the supreme court has already said the the travel ban can be put into practice regardless of these stupid judiciary blocks. This is all just grandstanding meant to gaslight Trump’s base into feeling like they lost something, while in fact nothing at all is happening.

The Supreme Court asked this month that both the Ninth and Fourth Circuit courts rule expeditiously to enable it to take up the case. It will likely wait on the Fourth Circuit opinion before it decides whether it will hear the appeal and “finally decide to resolve this issue,” said Carl Tobias, a law professor at the University of Richmond.

Once these bugmen judges are done with their cute little rulings, the Supreme Court can come in and finally overturn them. And it’s close to certain that they will. There is ample precedent for the president implementing travel bans on very similar grounds as to what Trump has presented, including this hilarious example.

Aj Jazeera:

As millions of people became refugees during World War II, US President Franklin D Roosevelt argued that refugees posed a serious threat to the country’s national security. Drawing on fears that Nazi spies could be hiding among them, the country limited the number of German Jews who could be admitted to 26,000 annually. And it is estimated that for most of the Hitler era, less than 25 percent of that quota was actually filled.

This is some top-tier irony right there… A Jew travel ban to prevent Nazi spies, resulting in more Jews getting gassed in fake shower rooms.

The real question here is this: how can we tolerate having a court 80% of whose decisions are overturned? Wouldn’t that indicate that they’re completely inept, corrupt and/or dishonest?

It’s time to start seriously discussing dissolving this clown organization.
