White people kill other people from time to time.
But murders that involve “abuse of a corpse”… that’s a diversity thing.
It was almost a year ago when a 23-year-old woman was found dead, wrapped up in a carpet and abandoned not far from the road.
Starting with one friend who saw Madison M. Walb two days prior to the discovery of her body in that field, police began a lengthy investigation, leading to the Berks County District Attorney’s Office announcing yesterday that charges have been filed against three people in connection with her death.
Carmen Morales-Feliciano, 25, is facing charges of first-degree murder, third-degree murder, aggravated assault, abuse of a corpse, criminal conspiracy and tampering with evidence. Her brother, Christopher Morales-Feliciano, 22, is facing charges of abuse of a corpse, criminal conspiracy and tampering with evidence. The two are in Berks County Jail.
A third person, Christian Carmona-Llanos, 26, faces charges of abuse of a corpse, criminal conspiracy and tampering with evidence. He has not yet been located.

Walb’s body was found wrapped up in a carpet on Oct. 8 in a field on the 200 block of Riegel Road in Lower Heidelberg Township.
An autopsy the following day positively identified Walb and revealed she died from a single gunshot wound to the head. The manner of death was ruled a homicide.
