This is a good line.

He’s basically president for life at this point, because we can’t possibly have a vote during virus hysteria. So at least he’ll keep us loling.

NBC News:

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that the U.S. doesn’t know whether the Chinese government has underreported the number of coronavirus cases and deaths in the country.

“I’m not an accountant from China,” Trump said when asked at a White House press briefing whether China’s numbers are accurate.

Still, Trump said that Beijing’s tally appeared “to be a little bit on the light side, and I’m being nice when I say that, relative to what we witnessed and what was reported.”

The president’s remarks came hours after a news report said the president received a secret intelligence brief concluding that China deliberately underreported the extent of its COVID-19 outbreak.

Bloomberg, citing three U.S. officials, reported that the intelligence community made that assessment in a classified report that the White House received last week.

They’re saying China faked the numbers to try to justify this hysteria. And just to demonize China in general.

People are looking at China’s 3,300 deaths and then looking at the estimated 100,000 to 240,000 deaths, and saying “yeah but why tho?”

So they’re floating these rumors.

Did more people actually die than China reported? I guess that’s possible, but who cares? We know that this is just the flu and no one really dies from it anyway other than people who would have died from any other flu.

And yet the only other person on the internet who is right about this other than me is Bill Mitchell.

That should be really embarrassing to the rest of the right-wingers on the internet promoting this hoax.

But I guess it isn’t…?
