Oh boy.
Big trouble over at a formerly pro-Trump news network that is now saying mean things. Or rather, doing mean polls.
President Trump criticized Fox News on Sunday over its recent polling, saying he doesn’t “believe” the polls in recent days that have suggested he’s losing ground to Democratic rivals and his disapproval rating is on the rise.
“I don’t know what’s happening with Fox,” he told reporters as he prepared to leave New Jersey, saying he doesn’t “believe” the polls.
“Fox is different, there’s no question about it,” he said, adding that he’s “the one calling the shots” on the election debates.
Trump would also not directly answer reporters if he’ll debate in 2020.
A Fox News representative was not immediately available for comment.
A Fox News poll released Thursday showed Trump losing head-to-head match ups against four top Democratic presidential primary candidates.
The poll found Trump trailing Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and former Vice President Joe Biden.
You know the Fox News poll could very well be Fake News like Donald Trump claims. I’m not even being facetious here – we all (hopefully) learned the lesson from 2016 about fake polls and how the media is engaged in meme magic of its own, trying to will results into reality, not simply predict them without bias.
And Fox News has been nearly as liberal as any of the other stations lately.
But there are a whole list of issues that Donald has waffled or failed to deliver on that might lower the enthusiasm for his re-election bid just a smidge. Just as an example: releasing criminals onto the streets and the resulting uptick in violence might not be received well by the base.

It may have caused some of his fans to get upset that the President cared more about what the Kardashians thought of him than his base.
And then there’s the whole “Make Promoting Sodomy Worldwide” thing a key priority of the White House…
And then there’s the whole corporate censorship issue that he refuses to do anything about…
And then there’s that whole issue where the President allowed the federal agencies to run roughshod over his own supporters…
And yeah, there are probably some other things I’m forgetting.
Hopefully, someone on Trump’s team slaps the diet soda out of his hand and informs him that 2020 is not in the bag yet and that he needs to give his base at least something before 2020 comes around…
Anything at all at this point, really.
