Trump’s baffled expression says it all.

“What in the world is lil’ Micron thinking?”

RT:

US President Donald Trump has unloaded on his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, calling the French president’s idea of a ‘real European army,’ independent from Washington, an insult.

Trump launched a broadside at Macron via his preferred medium of conducting foreign policy – Twitter.

Yeah, how exactly is France going to build up an army when it runs a lavish welfare state AND a 3-star all-expenses-paid resort for half of Africa and the Middle East?

It’s absurd.

Here are the military spending numbers:

We spend more on this stupid obsolete cold war program than all the other 27 countries combined.

NATO is a massive welfare program for europoor leeches.

To have something capable of matching Russia or the US would take spending a lot more than the 4% that the US spends – the entire European economy is barely the size of the US economy, and they would need to catch up with 70 years of development.

Frankly, there isn’t a single country in Western Europe capable of fielding a modern army anymore. Except for the UK, I suppose.

They can launch a few special forces operations sure, maybe bomb a few defenseless Arabs here and there. But actually fight a somewhat competent enemy?

Let’s just say that I’ll believe it when I see it.

I don’t even know what to make of Macron’s statements. They just don’t make any sense to me.

Trump’s recent decision to get the US out of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) became another wedge driving European powerhouses and the US even further apart. In his interview, Macron argued that Washington’s withdrawal from the 30-year-old arms treaty with Russia, which banned the parties from having and developing short- and mid-range missiles, has undermined European security.

Oh.

Yeah, I guess the Europeans aren’t too happy about short-range missiles being put on European soil, making them targets for Russian counter-missiles.

But whatever drives a wedge between him and Trump is good news. I don’t like it when Trump gets chummy with the globohomos. Makes me feel uneasy.

I would much rather that he hit it off with Putin. And in Argentina, they’re going to have a chat at the G20 summit. Judging from the Russian media, they’re cautiously optimistic about what another chat with Putin might do for US/Russian relations.

So yeah, dumping Europe and patching things up with Russia seems like a solid plan.

Once the Kafkaesque Russia probe is shut down, and the traitors in the State Dept and military purged, this seems like the most obvious move in the world.

Then I guess Macron can declare war on the US and Russia at the same time and we’ll just see how that plays out.
