President Donald Trump wore a mask during a visit to a military hospital on Saturday, the first time the president has been seen in public with the type of facial covering recommended by health officials as a precaution against spreading or becoming infected by the novel coronavirus.
Trump flew by helicopter to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in suburban Washington to meet wounded servicemembers and health care providers caring for COVID-19 patients. As he left the White House, he told reporters: “When you’re in a hospital, especially … I think it’s a great thing to wear a mask.”

While not wearing one himself, Trump has sent mixed signals about masks, acknowledging that they would be appropriate if worn in an indoor setting where people were close together. But he has accused reporters of wearing them to be politically correct and has retweeted messages making fun of Democrat Joe Biden for wearing a mask and implying that Biden looks weak.
I was feeling good about Trump after the speech at Mount Rushmore and the attacks on the blacks, but this is definitely the wrong direction. Nobody wants this. Maybe someone wants it.
Well, someone wants to be reassured that Trump is taking care of the “pandemic.” Because Trump went along with the hoax and acted like this bullshit was real, a lot of his own supporters now believe in this stupid flu hoax. So he needs to send the signal that he takes it seriously. That is just an election fact.
But these pictures, man.
Just makes me sick.
It’s like in The Little Mermaid when Ursula turns King Triton into that worm thing. It was a fat white woman that did it, just like Trump is subjugating himself like this for the sake of fat white women.
That made a big impression on me when I was a kid. It was actually a sick emotion that was probably too complicated for a children’s film – to see this strong figure turned into a weak little creature.
I feel that same emotion seeing Trump in this mask: the strong man brought low, made weak and pathetic.
Of course, I don’t care how it makes me feel. What I care about is that he wins. I do not believe this is how he wins.
