WaPo’s “in 3 minutes” version (dishonest editing, but you get the basic points):

Fox News highlights/analysis (note that the women are aging and need to be replaced ASAP):

I know we’re still pretty mad at the Donald over the Syria thing, putting these neocons in power positions, his refusal to send a Ghost Recon team to TJ, and a whole bunch of other shit.

But when he’s good, he’s good, and we should say “he’s good.”

That’s been my approach to Trump from announcement day: he should be viewed in practical terms, in terms of what he is accomplishing politically – and more importantly, socially – rather than as a leader or a non-leader. I know that goes against people’s biology, which is why so many people will say “OMG HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT HIM AFTER X THING HE DID???” but I’m not supporting him, I’m supporting the things he does.

It’s difficult – because it is counterintuitive to the primitive part of your brain –  but you have to not look at him as a man, but as a phenomenon.

Anyway – NRA speech was very good I think.

He thanked the most BASED one Kanye, gave good and entertaining basic rhetoric on guns, attacked Mueller, Democrats and CNN, said that they really need to be talking about banning trucks instead of guns if they want to take away terrorist tools – he was playing all the hits.

He even did “they’re not sending their best” but said “they’re not sending their finest, okay?”

He also did a great bit about John Kerry falling off a bike.
