Trump’s favorite campaign troll is working again. It will apparently just always work, forever.
The basic troll is this:
- Say something outrageous
- Media tries to stump, printing hundreds of articles on a topic, putting the issue in people’s minds
- Redirect media energy into a discussion about the initial topic you wanted to discuss
This round, it’s Saturday’s “last night in Sweden” comment.
It’s a stop story again today.

US President Donald Trump has sought to explain why he referred to a security incident in Sweden on Friday which did not actually happen.
Addressing a rally on Saturday, he had said, “look at what’s happening last night in Sweden”, as he listed parts of Europe hit by terrorist attacks.
With no such incident reported in Sweden on Friday, the country asked the US administration for an explanation.
Mr Trump tweeted on Sunday that he had been referring to a TV report.
He said it had been broadcast on Fox News but did not say when. He may have been referring to a Fox News programme on Friday night, which looked at refugees and crime in Sweden.
Despite his words “happening last night in Sweden”, White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said separately that Mr Trump had been talking about rising crime and recent incidents in general, not referring to a specific issue.
Former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt was among those who mocked Mr Trump’s comment, suggesting that he had “been smoking”.
He purposefully made the “last night” comment in order to get them to start talking about it like crazy, trying to stump him.

That is a reference to this Tucker Carlson show about.
It’s about Swedish cops covering up the epidemic of migrant crime. It aired on Friday night, so “last night” when he spoke.
And it’s good to direct people to that show.
This is, however, bigger than that.
Just right now (literally 9 minutes ago, at time of writing), he sprung the trap they had walked right into.

Now, we’re having a conversation about the crime rate in Sweden.
The most shocking statistic, of course, is that they have the third-highest rape rate of any country on earth – after South Africa and Botswana.
They also have an insane rate of other violent crime – crime that simply didn’t exist before Swedish women and Jews decided to make the country “diverse.”
As to the Friday night Trump would have been referring to in the speech – here’s a list of violent crimes committed by immigrants that night in Sweden, sent to me by a Swedish reader:
A 10 year old boy and his friend were victims of an attempted robbery on a playground outside of Stockholm friday afternoon. Apparently the perps were four “teenagers”, and the cops don’t want to give any further details about them. That usually means shitskins.

A man was found dead in an apartment in Stockholm friday night. Signs point to murder, stab wounds according to a local news source. Police have a suspect in custody, both him and the dead guy were pretty “bad hombres”, with a string of previous crimes, according to the cops.

So as I say: every night in Sweden, someone’s life is being destroyed by “diversity.”
This is the reality.
And it is a reality that Donald Trump just trolled the media into talking about.
Wait for backtracking now, the media running stories explaining how migrants only commit so many crimes in Sweden because of discrimination or microaggressions or whatever.
Maybe it’s because of slavery in America hundreds of years ago.
We’ll find out.
