I’ll bet Erdogan is wishing he still had a caliphate. And an empire. And a relevant military. And all the rest of the things his country has permanently lost in the last century and a half.
AP:
Turkey’s ruling party has been left with few options for a new government after it was stripped of its parliamentary majority and opposition parties ruled out joining it in a coalition pact.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s AKP party won around 41 percent of the votes in Sunday’s election and was projected to take 258 seats — 18 below the minimum required to rule alone.

I thought all the Turks liked this monkey and his invasion plot. But I guess whoever rules Turkey, they’re going to keep allowing everyone who wants to to use their country as an entry-point to Greece.
But now that the Kurds have more power, it might be hard for him to keep supporting ISIS.
I think he might pull a dictator soon enough. There is still enough of a conservative religious presence in the country it would be easy, and the West wouldn’t care.
