If a gang of White guys barged into a bar and killed one of the Black women working there, this would be a media shitshow.
But it wasn’t White guys.
Atlanta police announced Wednesday afternoon that they made the fourth and final arrest in the deadly robbery at Barcelona Wine Bar last year.
Corinne Shapiro, who witnessed the shooting, told Channel 2 Action News that she will never forget watching police respond to the deadly robbery at the bar on Howell Mill Road in Northwest Atlanta last November.
“When that happened, it was kind of like a smack in the face, like oh, whoa, this really can still happen and we should be aware,” Shapiro said.
Channel 2’s Aaron Diamant learned that officers arrested Terry Andre Jones, 19, Wednesday morning at Hartsfield-Jackson airport in connection with the robbery and deadly shooting of Chelsea Beller, 29. Police charged Jones with felony murder and armed robbery.
Wednesday afternoon, police announced they had made a fourth arrest. Ira Troy Williams, 19, was arrested in Stone Mountain and charged with felony murder.
Police said Williams is the final suspect linked to the case.
