Good Lord, that eldritch abomination on the right is something else.
Why aren’t more horror filmmakers using these mongrels in their movies? Then they wouldn’t have to pay for CGI!
Two suspects have now been charged with murder in last week’s shooting death of a 37-year-old woman in Anniston.
Officers responded Dec. 6 to a report of an unconscious and unresponsive female lying in the roadway in the 2000 block of Winchester Road. Once on the scene, police and Anniston Fire Department medics were unable to observe any signs of life.
It appeared, said Anniston police Sgt. Kyle Price, that the woman sustained gunshot wounds to the upper torso. She was officially pronounced dead on the scene.
Authorities identified the victim as Amanda Kirby of Oxford. During the investigation, detectives determined that Kirby was shot in a vehicle and later moved to the area where her body was found.
Witnesses and potential suspects were quickly developed and found. Robert Jenkins, 29, of Anniston, was arrested the same day as Kirby’s killing.

Pinson was arrested on a murder charge during that raid.
According to Kirby’s obituary, she was the mother of two sons. She had attended Oxford High School and worked as a waitress.
Authorities have not released a motive or any additional slayings in Kirby’s slaying. Both suspects remain in the Calhoun County Jail with bond set at $60,000 each.
