The family and friends of a teenage champion boxer have paid tribute after he died suddenly.
Jude Moore, 19, who represented England at the EUBC Junior European Championships in Romania, passed away on March 17, his family confirmed.
Moore trained at Downend Boxing in Fishponds, Bristol, and was due to fight in Milan this week.
He won his first senior fight against the Polish national champion shortly before his death.
His coach, Craig Turner, told LBC: ‘He was an absolute star, irreplaceable. Once you met him, you would never forget him.
‘The fact that he came from one of the most deprived wards in Great Britain to do what he did and achieved what he did is nothing short of amazing.’

The athletes are dying first because they’re the ones who are using their hearts the most.
For non-athletes, there is lower risk from the clot shot.
Of course, everyone is presumably building up these calamaris in their veins, and even if you’re sedentary, you can’t operate indefinitely with these things blocking blood flow.

If everyone was okay a couple years later, while slowly developing cancer, they’d have much higher uptake among early resisters.
It’s hard to believe they wouldn’t have figured out that the cells start producing this excess protein and filling the veins with it, but experimental means experimental.
