Someone’s got to stop these old dead White men.
They are the said to be the founding fathers of Western philosophy, whose ideas underpin civilised society.
But students at a prestigious London university are demanding that figures such as Plato, Descartes and Immanuel Kant should be largely dropped from the curriculum because they are white.
School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS)’s student union is insisting that when studying philosophy “the majority of philosophers on our courses” should be from Africa and Asia.
Seriously folks, who ever heard of an African philosopher?
But why would they want to do such a ridiculously moronic thing? I mean, there’s got to be some really good reason, which can be articulated in a concise and easily understood manner, right?
They say it is part of wider campaign to “decolonise” the university, as the seek to “address the structural and epistemological legacy of colonialism”.
Ah, we’re going to “decolonize” philosophy, and the university in general. That’s just word salad, pure and simple. It’s completely meaningless, as are most buzzwords employed by the left, and it masks the same truth that all their silly narratives attempt to obfuscate about. What it really means is “We hate Whitey, we are envious of Whitey, we are jealous of Whitey’s accomplishments, and therefore, we shall not only attempt to eliminate Whitey from the planet, we wish to remove any mention of Whitey from public discourse, unless, of course, said discourse consists wholly of advocating that we kill Whitey!”
The fact of the matter is, the UK is practically begging them to wreck what’s left of their universities. As I write this, their parliament is considering a new measure that basically lets students decide what will be on the curriculum.
It comes after education leaders warned that universities will be forced to pander to the demands of “snowflake” students, however unreasonable they might be.
Under proposed reforms to higher education, the Government wants to place student satisfaction at the heart of a new ranking system, but it critics fear could undermine academic integrity.
This is the most retarded idea I have ever heard regarding university curricula.
Let the students, decide?
We already have a system like that. It’s called not going to school. If you don’t go to school, you have these nifty things called the internet and public libraries, where you can go and study whatever strikes your fancy, and you don’t have to spend the rest of your life working at McDonald’s trying to pay off your $500,000 student debt you accrued from your worthless bachelor’s in Ethnic Studies with a minor in Babylonian Astrology.
I can just imagine some of the courses that would come from this empty-headed proposal.
- Orgies 101. Bring lube and condoms to the Wednesday lab courses.
- Coldplay’s Second Album as a Critique of the Modern White Patriarchy.
- Bong Engineering for the Mathematically Challenged.
I could go on and on, but this isn’t a listicle, so I won’t.
Interestingly, this is one of those ever more common examples of the pozzed, gender-fluid, college leftist crowd being so ridiculous that even their leftie professors are forced to counter-signal them, adamantly in this case.
Sir Roger Scruton, the philosopher, said the demands suggest “ignorance”. “You can’t rule out a whole area of intellectual endeavour without having investigated it and clearly they haven’t investigated what they mean by white philosophy,” he told The Mail on Sunday.
He called them “ignorant” fam! I’m literally shaking right now! You’re only ever supposed to refer to evil White right-wing NaziKKKWhiteSupremacists as ignorant, because they hate, and that’s so ignorant! Where is the goddamned safe space? REEEE!!!

Somehow I don’t think this is gonna fly. The left completely jumped the shark at least two years back, maybe longer. Of course, they can never admit this, to themselves, or anyone else, because that admission gives the lie to their entire program of Western Destruction. Thus, they must continually double-down at a pace that makes their public idiocy become more evident at an exponentially advancing rate, which results in them making crazy demands like this when there is a bill being debated that would have given them everything they wanted anyway.
For us, everything is proceeding beautifully. This insanity can’t go on much longer. At any moment, it could be crushed under the immense weight of it’s own stupidity.
Fair warning, Brits. You don’t want to let these people “decolonize” philosophy. Here in America, they already decolonized debate, and just look at the results!
