UK: Black Gets 15 Years for Dragging Woman Down Staircase and Attempting to Rape Her

Sean Manning

Common sense dictates that real rape would involve at least some violent dragging.

Isn’t it strange that white “rapists” never seem to do that?

MyLondon:

A “dangerous” man who tried to rape a woman he had met in a pub after she refused to come back to his home has been jailed.

Sean Manning, 42, met the victim, a woman in her 30s, in a pub in Hackney on August 11 last year.

In the early hours of the following morning, as the woman attempted to leave the premises, Manning started to follow her and asked her to come to an address with him.

When she refused to do so, he became aggressive and dragged her down a staircase at the side of Haggerston Bridge.

He then attempted to rape her, physically assaulting her as she struggled to get away.

The victim only managed to escape from Manning after a 14-year-old boy heard her screaming from inside his house. He came outside and confronted the male before calling police, while Manning fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.

Manning, of no fixed address, was arrested on August 16 and charged with attempted rape.

He was found guilty of the offence on January 27 following a three-day trial at Wood Green Crown Court. On Thursday (March 19), he was jailed for 15 years, to serve a minimum of 10 years.
