Nayyib Mohammed.
The victim was in “the wrong place at the wrong time,” apparently.

A speeding driver has been jailed for seven years after he mowed down a pedestrian at more than 70mph in West Bromwich.
Nayyib Mohammed was banned from the roads when he hit Richard James Cheshire on Trinity Way, on the outskirts of the town centre, just after 1.30pm on August 3 this year.
Mr Cheshire was thrown onto the other side of the dual carriageway. The 37-year-old – who police said was simply in the “wrong place at the wrong time” was left with serious injuries and pronounced dead at the scene.
West Midlands Police’s serious collision investigation unit showed Mohammed had been driving recklessly and was doing 72mph in a 40mph zone just 25 metres before the collision.
Mohammed, of Marshall Street, Smethwick, was arrested at the scene.
…
He was jailed for seven years at Wolverhampton Crown Court today, Friday, October 4, and banned from the road for 13 years.
