Did the incident occur at this Pizza Parlour in Runcorn Old Town, or did it occur in Mario’ Pizza, which was mysteriously petrol bombed last year? Either way, the article doesn’t want us to know.

A woman has admitted racially abusing pizza shop workers in a drunken rant over paying for a takeaway.

Lisa Tunnicliffe, aged 38, of Sycamore Road, Runcorn, pleaded guilty to racially aggravated harassment at Halton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

Katherine Whincup, prosecuting, said she told Turkish and Bulgarian staff at a pizza parlour in Runcorn Old Town to ‘get back to your own country’.

Mrs Whincup said: “The victim heard shouting and saw this lady standing in the shop.

“She was drunk and argumentative.

“She said you should be removed from my country and asked to see his passport.”

The offence happened on January 6 at around 9pm.

It left the victims ‘feeling bad’ and ‘very upset’.

As the racist tirade continued, shop staff called police.

Tunnicliffe continued to be abusive even when officers arrived, demanding her money back for food ordered, the court heard.

She told police the takeaway employees ‘shouldn’t be in this country’ and was arrested.

When interviewed, Tunnicliffe said she had drank three litres of cider before the incident.

The court heard she had been drinking in a pub next to her home address before going into the takeaway when an argument over money ensued.

The mum-of-two, who is on benefits, said she had broken up with her partner that evening and was drinking as she was upset.

Tunnicliffe was fined £100 by magistrates.
