The UN is officially blaming the regime of Bashir al-Assad for one of the worst memes ever created: GAS BABY MEME.

BBC:

Syria’s government was responsible for a deadly chemical attack on a rebel-held town in the north-west of the country on 4 April, a UN report says.

The authors say they are “confident” Damascus used sarin nerve agent in Khan Sheikhoun, killing more than 80 people.

“Today’s report confirms what we have long known to be true,” said the US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley.

However, Syria’s foreign ministry said on Friday it “categorically denies” the report’s conclusions.

“This report and the one that preceded it are falsifications of the truth and distort the exact information on what happened at Khan Sheikhun,” the statement said.

The ministry went on to accuse the report of being a tool with which the UN could “exert more political pressures”, according to news agency AFP.

Syria’s opposition and Western powers have blamed the incident on a government air strike on the area, but Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his ally Russia have repeatedly said the incident was fabricated.

Damascus and Moscow say an air strike hit a rebel depot full of chemical munitions.

There is no evidence that Assad created this horrible meme.

In fact, Assad has said that there is no evidence that this alleged event actually even happened. The only evidence we have is pictures and video tape of childrens getting sprayed with a hose.

As far as I know, no bodies have been produced. This could just be a scripted, filmed event, faked to release to the media.

Or it could be the US bombing an ISIS gas facility.

One thing it definitely is not is Assad gassing his own people for no reason. That is stupid, and implies he is insane and/or purposefully evil for the sake of being evil.

The concerning question is: why are they bringing back this meme now?

Just as the war ends?
