Well, at least she didn’t violate copyright by denying this moronic hoax.
She’d have gotten did up for ten years like Mr. Bond instead of just another 12 months (I know the laws are different in Austria, but still).
It’s amazing they just keep letting her out and then putting her back in because she’s like “well, they can keep putting me in prison, but that doesn’t mean gas chambers are real.”
A Berlin court has sentenced a 93-year-old German woman to 12 months in prison for denying that Jews were systematically murdered during the Holocaust.
The Berlin regional court on Friday rejected an appeal by notorious neo-Nazi Ursula Haverbeck against two convictions for Holocaust denial in 2017 and 2020. Judges ruled that the sentence could not be suspended because Haverbeck had shown no remorse or signs of changing her views during the appeal hearings.
Haverbeck has repeatedly asserted that the Auschwitz death camp was just a work camp. In fact, historians say at least 1.1 million Jews were murdered there by the Nazis.
Haverbeck has already paid several fines and served at least 30 months for similar crimes.
She is really devoted.

I can’t find the one she just got put in jail for. I’m not sure she even did a big interview. She might have just told some people she was unrepentant, and then said “show me the ashes.”

When she gets out next time, she needs to do an interview with Tommy Sotomayor to trigger the next stint.
Ernst Zundel was also old, but not as old as she is, and he did a year and then wouldn’t deny again. They trapped him in Germany after they let him out.
I hate to keep saying this, but this all violates the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which is ostensibly the basis of democracy. Maybe they could have done Mr. Bond up for copyright violation without violating that declaration, but that would only have been like 3 years. Instead the poor bastard gets 10?
We are meaning to publish a big Mr. Bond article, but I’m still trying to figure out exactly what is going on without reading German. Aside from just denying, Mr. Bond is “rehabilitating” Nazism, but I don’t understand how denial is not rehabilitating, because the only thing they can really say the Nazis did wrong was gas Jews. Otherwise he just fought a war, as many have done.
