Berkeley Police have released surveillance video hoping it will lead to a suspect in an attack on an 85-year-old woman.
It happened September 23 on Shattuck Avenue near Allston Way.
The video shows a woman pushing a shopping cart then turning and slamming the victim, an Oakland native, to the ground.
Police say the victim was treated at a hospital and is now recovering.
The attacker is described as an African-American woman in her 50s with short hair. She’s about 5 feet 6 inches tall, and was wearing a long grey coat and green baggy pants.
