The suspect in a murder at the Cedar Key Apartments in March has been arrested by North Charleston Police.
Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Tony Phinney said his office has placed a hold on Byron Christopher Kinsey, 29, last known address of 1907 English Street, North Charleston.
Kinsey was arrested by North Charleston Police for disorderly conduct and simple possession of marijuana and booked at the Al Cannon Detention Center early Thursday morning.
Dorchester County issued a murder warrant for Kinsey in March for the March 10 shooting death of Robert Crumm, 34, of 100 Reading Court in Ladson.
Crumm was shot in the leg and the chest at the apartment complex on Pidgeon Bay Road and died within minutes from the chest wound.
